For kids who are brand new, or still holding on to something while they skate.

Class aim:
To equip skaters with knowledge of

• safe falling,

• basic stopping

• skating positions/stance

• stride motion

• gliding

• crouching

• basic turning

Beginner CLASS

1.45pm - 2.45pm

For kids who can skate forward independently without support

Class aim:
To equip skaters with knowledge of

• plow stop, t-stop

• cross over

• backward skating

• jumps

• turns

• other ‘cool tricks’ they may want to learn…

Our pin up skaters will be entertaining at Monty Village Rockabilly Car Show. 9am-12pm.

Term 1 of Yarraville casual classes start

Join our community for a day of fun and games!

Seddon Village is putting on a family fun day out in Greig Street (next to Foodworks on Charles Street) and Harris Reserve.

There will be a rollerskating rink, face painters, roving entertainers, community stalls, live music and lots more. Plus our local traders will be offering lots of yummy food and drink in the Village. See below for a map of our traders & where the event will be.

There will also be a Dog Parade at 12.15pm, Santa will be stopping by in a big fire truck at 2.30pm and at 3.30pm we'll be bringing back a Seddon favourite - the great waiters race! So come along and cheer for your favourite waiters and see who has what it takes to take home the trophy for 2024.

Want to be involved? We'd love to hear from you! This is a community run event and volunteers are most welcome - even if it's only for an hour or two. It's a great way to network and meet great people in the community.

All proceeds from the day will go to supporting Foodbank Victoria.

Halloween is just around the corner, and Yarraville hasn’t forgotten!

Join us on this Thursday 31st from 4pm - 6pm in the Village. There will be Trick or Treating, live music and storytelling in the pop-up park, as well as roving entertainment.

Afterwards, enjoy a scary movie from the Sun Theatre, or a meal from one of Yarraville’s many incredible restaurants.

It’ll be a night to remember....

Princess on Skates once again will be spooking Yarraville Village 4.30-5.30.

Followed by student performances at 5.30pm corner of Anderson and Ballarat streets.
